After a twenty year career in television working for a number of blue chip companies, Mark Soanes now brings his expert eye to garden design through Urban Paradise Company, based in North London.

Mark holds a postgraduate National Diploma (with distinction) in Garden Design from the British Academy of Garden Design. He is also a member of the Gardeners’ Guild and a pre-registered member of The Society of Garden Designers. With a passion for the natural world, Mark graduated from his earlier studies with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Human Physiology & Zoology from Royal Holloway University. 

Mark believes that a garden should be a truly personal space. He doesn’t just rely on formulaic or preconceived designs. Through an in depth consultation process, Mark seeks to present ideas and a uniquely bespoke solution. Each garden, whether incorporating contemporary or classic signatures, should be a space to relax, to entertain and importantly to be proud of. Urban Paradise embraces large and small commissions, city and country gardens, private residential and commercial projects.
